About the Workshop
With gender inclusion under political scrutiny, it’s more important than ever to create spaces where young people feel affirmed. This interactive workshop supports caregivers, educators and those who work with young people in creating gender inclusive practices and spaces that allow children to develop their own sense of who they are. We will explore how gender norms are shaped, the latest research on biological sex differences vs environmental learning, and practical ways to support gender identity development in children—despite restrictive policies.
